This electric burner is well made and feels much higher value than the price paid.It heats up fast and maintains temperature relatively well.Was used for cooking extra food for meals as an emergency extra stovetop.Good:-Solid Construction-Fast Heating-Decent length of cordBad:Not much of anything. Does what was needed and works as intended.Overall, would be a great purchase for anyone needing it.

This saves the fret over making a mess in the kitchen. Normally I'd use the stove, & take a small cast iron skillet for transport. During heating, I'd make a mess all over my stove. Now I can just make a mess on this & not worry about it. Does the job, very basic, & depending on your set up, can save you from running back & forth to the kitchen.

I have been using a blow torch or the grill to light coals and it would get old. So happy I found this to help make enjoying hookah easier.

What I used this product for was as an extra tool for my hookah set up. This coal burner is small and saves space as well as time. This thing heats up in a timely manner and gets hot enough to get the job done. It is portable and convenient and user friendly. Id recommend for anyone interested, it's an excellent price.

I am burning my coals super fast!

I have only used this 2 times but have been satisfied both times. I wasn't using my hookah often because it was kind of a pain to prepare. Having this burner helped me set it up faster and I felt less stressed about getting it ready. Now that I have experience with it, I will be able to enjoy it a little more often without feeling too lazy to get it ready.

This can be used for more than just heating coals for your hookah. You can use it as an additional burner, or take it with you on trips where you have access to electricity, and need to be able to cook stuff. You can adjust the heat, so you can use it as an actual stove-type burner. I have it with my emergency kit, along with a power converter, so I can use the burner in an emergency via my vehicle. It's a good idea to have one of these, or something similar in a kit, especially in case of a natural disaster, or if you get stranded somewhere for more than a day.

This got my charcoal for my hookah, at the perfect stage for use. Super easy to use although a bit large for my personal use.

This is a nice little single burner stove. Did I use it to heat Hookah coals? Yes. It's not a one-trick pony, though! I can take this puppy camping on an electric site. The coils seem tighter than I remember on a standard single or double burner.The first thing I noticed is how light this is. Ideal for travelling. I only remember the ones from the 70s, where it took up a quarter of your car and weighed close to a St. Bernard! Progress!It works well to heat up the coals and did so rather quickly. When it came to cooling down, I really appreciate the extra vents on each side. The only real downside is a personal preference - I wish the cord was longer. I am a bit funny about plugging things like this into a power strip or extension cord. I just always seem to be surrounded by stuff, and I like to have a clear space for heat. It's not always by an outlet. The little raised legs give it extra stability, which allows for being steady on different surfaces. Just use common sense.If this gets dirty, I'm not sure how easy it will be to clean. It looked like you could lift the coil out. I didn't want to try and end up breaking it. If it just gets dusty, I could blow it out with a can of air, too. Spills might not work so well.This is a very nice burner. To me, it seems on the large side just for coals, but you get the bonus of it being multipurpose and sturdy with it being larger. I'm still shocked about how light it is!

I recently got some hookah coals that are not self igniting, and I'm really impressed with this for under $20. Did a great job lighting coals, heats up fast and didn't make any odd smells after a brief first warm up. This is going to be super handy to have as a burner backup as well as it's really just seems like a regular hot plate. I do like the self igniting coals, but the ones that need a burner like this definitely burn longer. There's plenty of room for multiple coals on this, and only takes about 5 minutes to get a coal ready to go.I do want to add that this thing "feels" cheaply made and it's suspiciously light, but I'm not going to take stars off because it is in fact very inexpensive and it works fine. On the plus side, the power cord is thick and seems to be good quality.

This is like a mini hot plate. I didn’t actually intend on using it for lighting hookah charcoal. I had another use in mind and it works great. I’m using it in my workshop to melt wax for bicycle chains (wife wasn’t too keen on me using the insta pot!) The unit heats up plenty fast and doesn’t take up a lot of room on my work bench. Be carful not to have any flammable materials close to the coils.

Worked well for heating up the coals. Does seem a bit on the cheap side, but no complaints or issues. Will update if anything changes :)

Better than any at your local smoke shop. Feels built to last

Heats up the coal very fast. If you put it on the highest setting, it smells like something has caught on fire and is burning very badly. Otherwise would definitely recommend for coconut coal hookah sessions.

I have never used a burner for coals, always the instant light type. I wasn't sure what to expect but it worked great. Heats evenly and quickly. It is also a nice backup for cooking as long as you have an electric outlet to connect to.

Just like a single stove top burner only the burner is a tighter coil. There are a couple of heat settings and an indicator light to tell you when it's on. Get a soft bristled brush to help with cleaning. Don't leave ash or charcoal on the coils since this impacts how evenly the charcoal can burn and puts stress on the unit. Had these before and they burnout within 3 mths after every night use. This seems to be standard. Love the convenience of this little unit and travel with it everywhere I go.

Got this product to bring to our Hunting Camp and let me tell you what it is perfect. We use our hot plate a lot at the camp but now we can add this Burner for another pot. I am so excited about this. It heats up very nicely, and stays on the whole time, it gives consistent even heat and so far has not failed me. Great product.

I much prefer this method of lighting coals to using a torch or trying to balance them on your kitchen stove. A lot more convenient and can be kept nearby your smoking spot, for me that is the garage.The burner element seems to heat up fairly quickly and the coals start up within 10 minutes, usually quicker depending on the type of coal you're using. I have noticed some variance in between coconut coal brands in terms of how easy they are to light.I started out moving the coals around as they got started up but I think the best way is to just leave them on the burner until they're at least halfway lit up.For the price I think it's definitely worth it, very convenient to have a dedicated burner for lighting coals and it doesn't take up that much space at all.

I know this for hookah coals but I use it for more than that in all seasons room. Coals definitely heat up quickly - within 5-10 minutes sometimes longer. Be sure to put on a stable surface to avoid the possibility of tipping over or being knocked over. For the ashes of the coals and other dirt, have some compressed air available. No complaints about the burner. Be careful while using.

No complaints about this charcoal burner. It heats fast and evenly. It's super easy to use and pretty easy to clean once cooled off. Wonderful for lighting hookah coals and mini coals for my table top hibachi. Great for starters for a fire pit or BBQ grill as well.

This is the perfect size! It's not overwhelmingly large so it can sit on my Hookah table and not take up a ton of room. It also heats up quickly, which is nice. I do wish the cord were a tad longer, but I just use a short heavy duty extension cord with it.
